Cargo Trucks have been a huge point of controversy in Warzone, particularly just after the C4 nerfs made it very much difficult to counter them. Not only do these trucks have a sizeable health pool, but they also instantly down any players that likely to get in their way.
While the developers nerfed the spawn rate of these overpowered vehicles in the game’s solo mode, but they were still running rampant in quads and trios. It was very much hoped that the Season 4 update would bring further adjustments to the Cargo Trucks that were running rampant around Verdansk, but instead, the latest content drop makes things even worse. Armored Trucks can be easily obtained in Warzone’s regular battle royale modes at the beginning of Season 4.
The Armored Trucks were previously available only in Warzone’s Armored Royale LTM, and many players spotted them in solos and also in squad-based modes in Season 4. To make the matters worse, they could be also upgraded with permanent UAVs, a Trophy System, even more armor, and a heat-resistant gun barrel. Even if you are able to manage to somehow damage one of these drivable death machines, the crew of the Armored Truck could easily repair any damage from the onboard Buy Station. We nerfed Bertha so that you can get your fresh new armored Bertha on battle royal, said Andreah2o.
It certainly feels like a strange decision, especially when given how potent the regular Cargo Trucks had been in recent months. However, the decision for adding Armored Trucks outside of LTMs shocked a lot of players, which further fuels the sentiment that Warzone’s developers don’t listen to their fans. Millions of active players and I can bet not a single person wanted this glitch said Lafleur-42. Meanwhile, another player joked about it by saying that, the real Warzone meta is Activision seeing how much ridiculous s**t they can pull and can still make money.
Raven Software tweeted on their Twitter account on June 18 and outlined that the powerful vehicles were scrapped because of an ongoing issue with players becoming invisible. There is currently no confirmation about how long it may take for the issue to be resolved. Therefore, there’s no telling when Armored Trucks is going to return to Warzone in Season 4. The invisibility glitch is currently under investigation process. As soon as it gets resolved, it will be safe to assume that Armored Trucks will be back to their rampaging ways shortly after.
