- Chinese smartphone manufacturing giant Xiaomi recently launched its first Redmi gaming smartphone Redmi K40 Gaming Edition in China.
- Xiaomi could soon launch the Redmi K40 Gaming Lite with some key specifications of the upcoming gaming phone.
- The smartphone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset.
In addition to the Redmi K40 game enhanced edition which was launched recently,Xiaomi is going to launch the K40 gaming lite.The Redmi K40 lite will be another gaming phone with some key specifications as per the latest information.The smartphone is going to get a co partner in form of Redmi K 40 lite,which has already started featuring in rumour.
K40 Lite: Coming soon
A well known Digital chat station Tipster the Xiaomi K40 Gaming Lite is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity.Its is expected that it will come with a Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The Redmi gaming phone’s battery is also expected to be of 5,000mAh.The battery will be slightly smaller than the previous Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. However, it is expected to come with support for 67W fast charging .It is also expected that device will have 64 megapixel camera as same as it was in K40 gaming edition. However, there’s no word on the other camera sensors that will tag along. Although there are lot of speculations going on around regarding the device but still there is no confirmation about its launch date.
Glance at Redmi K40 Enhanced Edition
As a reminder the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition launched last month with a 6.67-inch AMOLED 120Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It has 12 gb of ram and the storage upto 25gb.It has pop up shoulder buttons that act as gaming triggers pulsating ambient light around the rear camera module that changes colours, aerospace heat dissipation system, and more as some oa 16-megapixel front camera, and a 5,062mAh battery with 67W fast charging.It runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.In addition to all these features it also supports 5G,dual stereo speakers Dolby Atmos, X-axis linear motor, Game Turbo 5.0, IP53 dust and water resistance, and more.
However Xiaomi is yet to launch Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition in India. So, it’s very unlikely that the company might launch the lite edition in the country anytime soon.
