Sony recently confirmed that it expects-5 shortage will continue till 2022. The company recently claimed that it’s having difficulties in keeping up with the strong demand for their latest Lee launched console. According to some people, this can also be a company’s ability to boost up its sales target by creating shorts in the market so that the demand increases.
Sony group during result call in late April announced that it has almost sold 7.8 1,000,000 units of PlayStation 5 throughout March 31st, 2021.
It aims to sell a minimum of 14.8 1,000,000 consoles in the current fiscal year these numbers will indirectly help the company to continue to reach the momentum of the PlayStation 4 sales figure which according to the data recorded has crossed 115.9 1,000,000 units.
