The PlayStation 5 pre-orders are going to start in India next week. Sony center, Sony’s authorized dealer has listed the next-generation gaming consoles that have been in short supply not only in India but globally. Just after the launch, the first batch of consoles was sold out within a few minutes.

Back in January this year the first PS 5 pre-orders were kicked off . The Sony center is showing an official banner that reveals the order details for PS5 on their website. The banner shows that the interested users will be able to pre-book the consoles which are going to start from 17th may sharp at 12 noon. To do the pre-orders you just need to visit the official website and add all the required details and make the payment.

If we talk about the models of PS5 they come in two models including both standard and digital editions which are available globally. However, In India, the standard edition is only available.

On May 17th only standard edition will be available for pre-bookings whose price is about Rs. 49,990.

There is are no details about the shipping, which means there is no guarantee that when you will receive your consoles even if you have done pre-bookings. Due to the rising covid-19 cases its is expected that shipping may be delayed.

Sony center is a third-party retail partner of Sony. Hence, the pre-order availability is not really an official restock from the manufacturer. Even Sony hasn’t revealed any specific details of the PS5 restock. Earlier in may, reliance digital also listed PS5 to be in stock and accepted orders. Later consumers started complaining that there were orders that were getting canceled and after that, the retailers issued them full refunds.

Back in January when the PS 5 pre-orders happened for the first time, all the consoles were sold out within a few minutes. Since then there has been a shortage of PS5 stocks not only in India but in many other countries too.
