India Today Gaming announces ESports Premier League

Esports Premier League 2021 is a tournament where all the professionals and interested gamers of esports will compete against each other. So here is everything for you to know about the schedule, rules, and regulations, prize, the registration process of this Esports Premier League 2021.

India Today Gaming has just announced the Esports Premier League (ESPL) 2021. This tournament will be the first tournament of 2021 which is organized by the division in order to focus on staying home. The registration for the tournament has been started. They have also shared all the details regarding the tournament which includes schedule, format, prize pool, and the sign-up process.

Before talking about the registrations, let’s focus on the basics of this tournament ESPL 2021. This is a multi-city, multi-month tournament just like the format of IPL. Like in IPL many teams compete against each other for both the monetary prize and prestige. However, the first iteration of ESPL will offer each one a chance to represent one of the eight cities. This will include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Punjab, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Rajasthan. For making things easier for players they have divided ESPL into four levels to zero down.

The format of the ESPL it will revolve around “Versus”, “Best of 5”, and “Best of 8” to select the top-performing teams. ESPL is a team-based tournament where a squad of four players will be required. In case of any eventuality, there should be an addition to the four members. Interested players will need to sign-up on the India Today Gaming platform to take part in ESPL. For the registration process one can head to the Esports Premier League website. India Today Gaming has set a total prize of Rs 25 lakhs. After the registrations, the matches will start on June 16 and will conclude on August 29.
