Battlefield 6, is completely into development with an official reveal date which is going to take place on June 9, 2021. We are expecting it to arrive on console and PC later this year, though there is no confirmation on the official release date outside of the Holiday 2021 window.
Battlefield 6 is Developed by EA Dice, it is still a mystery but EA has wasted no time in teasing huge things. Andrew Wilson Ceo of EA has expressed the hopes and said that the power of the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles is going to bring massive and immersive battles to life with more players than ever, he also mentioned maps with unprecedented scale and said the next vision of Battlefield takes all the destruction, player agency, and vehicle and weapon combat.
Adding to the rumors the game could feature 128-player maps, a Battle Royale mode, and extreme weather conditions and we think these features are plenty for the players to be interested in.
EA DICE confirms, the new Battlefield is going to reveal next week, so it won’t take much time long until we see more from Battlefield 6 and probably get a more solid release date. In the meantime, we’ve gathered, all the latest news and rumors regarding Battlefield 6 to keep you update.
Battlefield 6 is due to release in Holiday 2021 on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. EA CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed this release window during an earnings call in November 2020. Wilson during the call said that “The next Battlefield is all set to launch in holiday 2021, and we are very much excited to share a lot more about the game in the spring. It means we can expect the game’s release date between October and December this year.
Though EA Dice hasn’t released any Battlefield 6 trailers yet, but the upcoming Battlefield was featured in a tech trailer in EA Play 2020. From the brief glimpses which we’ve seen, it looks like facial animations are going to be more realistic than previously and it is also expected that we’re going to see battlefields getting even larger this time around \with more players. EA’s chief studio’s officer Laura Miele during the video said “We are creating epic battles at a scale and fidelity unlike anything you’ve experienced before”. It is reported that Screenshots of Battlefield 6 have leaked online, just before the game’s planned June 9 reveal.
In total there are four images, all were posted by the Twitter account Battlefield News and it was uploaded to Imgur as well. The images include cityscape, a ground-based view of a helicopter, and a player-view of a tank, and also the aircraft in use. The images also give a look at the game’s UI, along with the mini-map, party lists, and also show equipment lists appearing in three of the four after much speculation.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson during the company’s full-year earnings call revealed that the game is going to hit PS4 and Xbox One, it may disappoint those who were hoping Battlefield 6 would be a true next-gen showcase. With so many speculations going on EA has now confirmed that Battlefield 6 will get released on last-gen consoles, despite some were believing that the game would be exclusive to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
